Knowing that I made a difference has kept me going for over 10 years now, ever so slowly building the IIS site up to what it is today, the largest information database on the subject of Nigerian Crime open to all. Where victims can report and find crooks and information on how to avoid falling pray to the scam, avoid losing their entire family fortune or their business, family and sometimes even their lives.

So it is with a heavy heart that I have come to the conclusion that those 10 years of free service must come to an end and those using the service should start paying for its use. It is not an easy decision to make, especially since most people using the site are already victims of fraud. But it is either that or close the site down altogether, although the IIS site does literally save thousands of people every month from falling pray to those crooks peddling Advanced Fee Fraud or 419 originated from Nigeria.

I know through my dealings with the Nigerian Government and the Nigerian crooks that they will probably announce a National Holiday down there in Nigeria, if they were to hear that I would be closing the IIS site down! The very site that has cost them millions of dollars in lost revenue over the years!

In any case, it has been fun and that is one of the reasons we have been so long at it, OK I admit there have been quite many magazine articles, such as in Soldier of Fortune and TV and Radio interviews at BBC and some other stations around the world, but it does not pay the bills, and I am tired of paying. So why keep it up? for your sake? Hmmmmmmmm. I done that for 10 years.
