Nigerian
419 fraudsters convicted in the UK
You
may be pleased to hear that Nigerian 419 fraudsters
operating in the U.K. were sent a clear message
on 29th January 2001 by His Honour Judge Mota-Singh
at the Crown Court at Southwark, London. Three
Nigerians were jailed for a total of 14 years
for two counts of Conspiracy to Defraud relating
to 419 fraud carried out principally in London.
Of
the US$95,000 obtained by this team $11,000 was
seized and returned to the U.S. victim.
